On Friday 8th October, we had an awards ceremony to celebrate achieving our first Green Schools flag for the theme of Litter and Waste. We had a virtual awards ceremony on zoom with all of the other schools participating in the theme of Litter and Wate. It was great to see all of the work the other schools had completed too. We then had our own assembly to remind everyone of the hard work they had put into achieving the flag, such as getting involved in litter collections, reducing our waste in lunch boxes by having a Waste-Free Wednesday, and lots more. There was great excitement as the Green Schools Committee raised the flag on the pole!
