Take a look to see what JI & SI got up to during Science Week.
On Monday we completed a STEM activity. Goldilocks had broken Baby Bear’s chair. 🪑 We had to design and make a new chair/bed for Baby Bear.
On Wednesday we read the story of “The Gingerbread Man”. We had to come up with a solution to help the Gingerbread man get across the river and escape the fox. We had great team work and some groups made boats/bridges/water slides and a flying robot. 😀
On Thursday we went to St. Anne’s Park for ‘The Big Dig’. We had great fun exploring the Viking world through a simulated archaeology dig.
Finally on Friday we completed a colouring mixing experiment with Skittles. We learned that when sugar is put in warm water, it dissolves, as the colours meet, they mix, creating different colours.
